WEDDING BLISS

It was a beautiful day for a wedding. Vicki and Chris tied the knot and a good time was had by all. I had some trouble with my camera during the wedding. Its time to send it to the shop for a look over, but most came out fairly good. Take a look at the happy couples day. Want to see more CLICK HERE.
EAGLES
It was a beautiful day to go eagle hunting. But the dam had let out the water early and by 11:00 am the eagles had settled on the rocks waiting for the afternoon water release that would stun the fish in the water and make it easy pickings for the birds. This guy though decided to roust in the parking lot trees to wait out the afternoon. The only thing moving were the photographers lips telling tall tails. No pun intended.

Angela wanted to come home and have some time out with dad so he could take some portrait photos for her to have and send to Iraq to her friend. Here are the results along with some photos that happened to be on the disc as well.

A Sunday on the road after Church
A day out with the camera, in a world which God has created, will still allow you to find beauty amongst the worlds' kaos. That is what I enjoyed today, and now it is time for me to spread the wealth of what I found.
The Delaware City Hotel is an old time landmark throughout the history of Del. City. Today, it is also known as Crabbie Dicks, a place of fine dining, inside as well as on large patio overlooking the Delaware River and Fort Delaware on Pea Patch Island. An occasional group of motorcyclists come down, but they are very respectable and well behaved

KEPT WALLET IN POCKET AND FINGERS ON SHUTTER
I was working on a photo shoot for a few photos for the Delaware State Fair photo contest. I neede a few photos that represented a Delaware Sporting Event and freezing speed. What a better way than to go to Delaware Park. I didn't gamble a penny on the ponies but did gamble on how a few of the photos would turn out. I think I got perty lucky. The sun was hot, and I found out that you need permission to shoot photos at the track. Good thing I saw the sign on the window first. They were nice and said ok as long as I didn't take any shots inside the building. Click HERE to see my day

Bombay Hook 5/18/2009
Bombay Hook is starting to liven up and become musically beautiful thanks o all the song birds that are starting to twitter, and I don't mean on the internet, and tweet the day away. I found a trail that I knew existed but never walked it. It was a beautiful walk and the shell of a building appearing in this set of pictures was a WWII command and communication center for aircraft in the area. And I met one foxy lady on my trip today, came right up to my car and asked me out for a walk. She even let me take her picture and said I could post it here. Hope you get the chance to go to Bombay Hook. It is well worth the $4.00 dollar entrance fee or the $12.00 season pass which I recomend, because I believe once you go there you will want to go back again and again. Flowers are Blooming Everywhere
Another day on the crutches brings boring times. So why not put the camera on the good shoulder and try to get some exercise on the knee and do some photography. Even if it is the flowers for sell in the Acme grocery store parking lot. You would be suprised how many varieties of flowers and plants you can snap at grocery stores and Lowes or Home Depoe and road side garden stands if they let you. I hope I just didn't give away a trade secret here. The above is a flower that I took and changed the contrast and darkened the background to give it an abstract appearence. Enjoy the rest of the photos by clicking here.

CHERRY BLOSSOMS
Washington DC is a wonderful place to visit with many activities going on, but if you plan to use the metro to get there you better get your all day pass ahead of time. Talk about a log jam. 45 minutes to get your ticket if you are in the right line. A linch mob if you are not. So save yourself a trip and enjoy the pics.

The Eagles have arrived (and not the Philadelphia Eagle)
Connowingo Hydroelectric Plant is directly on the
migration route of the American Bald Eagle, and they
have arrived. I saw at least 20-30 mature and juvinal
eagles just soring on the updrafts and fishing. The gizard
shad are available so they will be around for a while.
