When 42 degrees is WARM?????

Today was 42 degrees and it felt like short sheeve weather. So I was out in short sleeves. Lumns Pond had ice on it thick enough to walk on, but I was not about to try it. Take a look at the beautiful January 2010 day.

I will be displaying 25 pieces of my work throughout the building for the full month. Delaware Parks and Recreation gives this honor to local artists' to display their crafts and expose their craft to the public. You can even make contacts with people to whom you can sell your work without a commission. Here is a preview of these photos. Two of the three missing photos here are caullages, so you didn't count wrong.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at Cornerstone Church is an all day affair. Live animals for the children to a live nativity is an annual look forward to. Three services directed especially for the children and three services for the adults makes for a long day. But when it is all about our savior the long day is nothing compared to what he did for us. Snow Emergency! What Is That?????

A lovely night to see Christmas Lights. Who would know what the next 24 hours was to bring to the Southern Bear, Delaware area. A snow storm, that was a hum-dinger, was on its way. With a guy that was raised in the Western hills of Pa. behind the wheel, and no idea that a state of emergency was in affect, a Honda Element, armed with a camera ventured out where it shouldn't have gone. I wasn't the only nut case that was out at such a stupid time. Take a peek at what it was like out there while you were cuddled up in your Snuggie, a hot totty in one hand and the remote in the other. Or maybe, if you were lucky, your lovely better half was curled up at your side keeping warm to. Click here to Enjoy the snow , some smart folks getting out while the getting was good and a few extra shots of my laid-back kitty's with more sense than me.

Global Warming My Eye

I don't want to here Al Gore talk about global warming any more. Maybe Climatic Relocation Shifts, if there is such a term. My wife just came back from Oswago, NY, from an early family Christmas and they didn't even have snow. Only an hour away from the Great Lakes, IN DECEMBER!!!!! And what does Delaware get but 16 plus inches of snow and a called State Of Emergency, from one storm. Unheard of!!!! After church was cancelled and I was left in the Parking lot by myself, because I didn't get the message I smelled a PHOTO OP!!!! Here are some pictures of Lums Pond painted in a far different color than normal, as well as a few shots of Delaware City, De. Click here to see the photos. PS HAVE A VERY BLESSED CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY

Falls Colors

I decided it was too nice to stay in today so I grabbed the camera and went out to find some pics. I got some of the remaining leaves on digital as well as my boat, which is on sale by the way. Beth said that If I wanted to get a new camera, I needed to make some sacrificies. So the boat is looking for a new home and I am looking for a Sony 380 plus a 200-500 MM Tamron lens that is sitting in Ritz camera calling my name. Here are some of todays photos.click here
